Based on the proven dry riding, seaworthy, fuel-efficient characteristics of the 23’ Patriot this 25’ model incorporates a full transom, full width stern platform, a transom fishbox/storage locker and a comfortable fold-away rear bench seat. These design changes add expansive interior cockpit space to an already large functional cockpit configuration found on the 23’ model.
The deck layout of the 25 Patriot creates many benefits, it has all the walk-around conveniences of a center console yet the center cabin provides maximum wind and weather protection without confinement. The stylish yet functional rooftop provides protection from the sun and rain and optional canvas side & rear curtains can be installed quickly to provide complete weather protection. Even with the canvas weather curtain installed, the port and starboard side door sections provide easy access to and from the cockpit; a nice feature for fisherman and boaters who want weather protection without sacrificing the ability to easily reach their fishing rods or dock lines. Already excellent visibility from the helm is improved with the installation of optional commercial grade windshield wipers; properly outfitted the 25 Patriot is a rugged offshore capable year-round boat.
Beneath the big center cabin there is 71” of berth space and 59” of headroom. This space provides ample room for storage of gear, a portable toilet or full marine head. With the optional berth cushions installed the center cabin is great place for children to nap and play while the adventurous boater will appreciate a safe place to overnight should the need unexpectedly arise.
Staying true to Maritime’s commitment of quality, overbuilt dependability and excellent hull performance the 25 Patriot will impress the most critical boater. The 8’6” beam, wide 6”chines and moderate 14 degree aft deadrise provide incredible stability and a shallow draft of 14”. The flat running characteristic of the Maritime hull and the 50 degree deadrise of the bow allow the Patriot to efficiently part the waves while the rounded bow and extreme flare deflects spray away from passengers and crew.
The 25 Patriot can accommodate single or twin outboards and is rated for a boat maximum of 300 HP. The 25 Patriot will reach top speeds close to 50 MPH, however the boat performs well with a single 200-225 HP motor and can deliver excellent fuel efficiency of less than 8 GPH at cruise speed of 26-28 MPH. All our models have ethanol friendly polyethylene fuel tanks; range of a 25 Patriot’s 83 gallon tank is in excess of 200 miles.
All Maritimes are manufactured with 100% composite materials and utilize an all fiberglass grid system firmly bonded to the hull to provide strength and deliver a solid ride. The foam filled grid and floor sections beneath the floor not only make the boat “unsinkable” but also add stiffness and dampen hull noise. While some manufacturers choose not to incorporate flotation characteristics mandatory in smaller boats to their larger models, all Maritime boats, regardless of length are built to the highest safety levels utilizing closed celled foam flotation beneath the deck to provide “unsinkable” safety and security for you and your family.
An aggressive non-skid deck pattern combined with a self bailing cockpit make the boat easy to clean and maintain. There is a choice for an all white interior cockpit or the traditional Maritime solid grey interior, both which utilize the highest quality gel coats for maximum durability and wear resistance.
A few of the standard features of the 25 Patriot include hydraulic steering, trim tabs with LED indicators, 10” 316 stainless steel cleats, large bow bitt and a 50” leaning post assembly complete with cushion and rail. Installed in the transom is a large fishbox/ storage locker that drains overboard. The rear folding bench seat not only provides a comfortable place to sit, but it can be folded flat to serve as a bolster when fishing. All cushions come standard in white or grey durable vinyl but can be upgraded to Sunbrella fabric which is available in a variety of colors.
