The Voyager, like its companion 23′s, performs very well with moderate sized motors. The hull starts to plane at unusually low speeds (12 MPH) and this becomes very important in heavy weather when higher speeds (often required in other designs) are not possible. The 8’6” beam, wide 6”chines and moderate 14 degree aft deadrise provide incredible stability and a shallow draft of 14”. The flat running characteristic of the Maritime hull and the 50 degree deadrise of the bow allow the boat to efficiently part the waves while the rounded bow and extreme flare deflects spray away from passengers and crew
Whether you’re an island commuter, year-round fisherman, or a couple who just wants to get out on the water yet be protected from the elements, this is a boat that lets you do it all.
