It has a 42" wide console, also standard in the 20 Defiant. Featuring a raised gauge pod for flush-mounted electronics, a flat area large enough for charts and binoculars, heavy-duty 3/8" aerodynamic windshield, 1" wrap-around console rail, front seat, and a lockable bi-fold door with stainless lockset. Once you crawl through the console door, headroom is a surprising 50", enough to sit on a Porta-Potti. The step-down in the floor measures 30" wide x 7' 8" long. A factory option (only available at time of order) called the "rod tip extension package" increases the length of this space another 2' so rods up to 7' 6" can be stored below decks. |

(above left) Another feature is the 34" wide leaning post. It can be enhanced further by adding a backrest, folding footrest, and our tackle station. This unit has two tackle drawers, a storage bin, and wide double doors. Latches are stainless steel with locksets. Fits both the 20 and 23 Defiant.

A heavy-duty "T"-Top is available for the 42" console. It features convenient handrails, an optional overhead radio box, four rod holders, a cockpit light bracket, mounting plates for antennas and radar, and a unique attaching system to the console providing ankle room alongside the console. This "T"-Top fits both the 20 and 23 Defiant. |
Performance is outstanding. The Defiant jumps on plane in three seconds and traveling as slow as 8.5 MPH at 2000 RPM's with a Suzuki 225. That's efficient! And you can select from a wide variety of lesser power plants. Here's what you might expect.
