Fuel Efficiency & Performance Data

Along with safety and performance Maritime was designed with fuel efficiency as a top priority.

Maritime’s unique hull design allows all models to plane at the low speed of 12-14 mph so instead of pushing through the water like a traditional deep V –hull, which requires more effort and burns more fuel, you can ride above the water at both low and high speeds with excellent fuel efficiency.

Also, since Maritime was designed for optimal performance with moderate sized outboards you won’t need to power your boat with more costly and thirsty higher horsepower motors. Although our 20’ models are rated up to maximum of 150 hp, you will find that many satisfied owners typically choose a 90 or 115 hp motor without sacrificing speed and performance. Our 23’ models have a maximum horsepower rating of 225 hp, but again many find it advantageous and cost effective to power their 23’ Maritime with a 150 or 175 hp motor.

Maritime’s fuel efficiency is so good there is no need for large heavy fuel tanks; the typical range of a 20’ boat at cruise with average horsepower is 150-165 miles and the 23’ models have a range of 200-250 miles.
